They use to conveniently remove property sale history and now they started showing old postings as new. Those were in market for months (price reduced multiple times) and suddenly they are new 2hrs old with complete history wiped out with much better estimate. Zillow - Looks like they donβt entertain those tactics and probably loosing business. #redfin #zillow #realestate
I thought this was something that happens directly from the MLS so if this is happening it sounds like a glitch or a real estate agent being shady af
I doubt its a glitch. Its a scam. People looking since months are clearly not interested so try and trap a new unsuspecting buyer.
Zillow let a robot buy up thousands of properties, outbidding real buyers and artificially inflating the market, and now will be laying off a full quarter of its workforce and selling off the properties to rental corps like BlackRock at vastly discounted prices.
Are you working in mandiant OP ?
Ok I am bagholding mandiant (bought as Fireeye) at 21$ I know they sold some BU and changed name. Does it has any upside or done ?
It's all dirty agent tactics and has been around for dozens of years, nothing to do with Redfin or Zillow or {random real estate site}. Zillow can keep the old copy because they are not a broker and doesn't have to comply with MLS rules. OP if you are buying, you need to find an agent, this delisting and hiding history behind MLS tactic is like real estate 101 ... (no offense)
In FireEye's way of telling things ... they simply changed the new listing to root access, thus you can no longer see it. And we follow MLS rules by default to the last listing that you have access to.
