Anybody at Netflix open to referring? Currently a backend Soft Eng at Yahoo
Me an ex-Yahoo, and Netflix hired me. Will be glad to refer. Send me a message with your email address and I can get in touch.
I have a question. So I'm a college student job hunting right now. New to this app and I'm surprised by all the people willing to refer strangers on this app. Why are people willing to refer strangers? Do you get anything out of it?
If your referral leads to a successful hire, you typically get a very nice cash bonus for 5min of work. However if you start spamming the recruiting dept with referrals, they will quickly figure out what you're up to.
Why would you want to try that hard for Netflix. Don’t you know their culture is toxic?
What aspect of our culture is it that you've found to be toxic? I'm curious, since I find Netflix's culture to be generally awesome. Particularly the emphasis on freedom and responsibility is very liberating.
Read glassdoor. Why are you asking obvious questions?
Netflix folks, I’m also looking, Sr. TPM at Amazon Video for >3 years (consulting/business before that). Can anyone here provide a referral to me as well? I have a specific role in mind. We can kick off the chat via PM, thanks!

Lmao, with Yahoo on your resume fu'hgetboutit
Yahoo has better tech in many parts compared to us. AWS is different.
I am in AWS, although that wasn't my point. HMs are steering far, far away from Yahoo candidates. It's a perception they have, so not really about our tech vs theirs.
