Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
I’m at Netflix so I’m still learning about RSUs. If I get an offer that has an annual refresher grant tied to performance, that target number should still be written in the offer letter, correct? Also, in your general experience, do your companies hit your refresher target (or higher) each year? Does it ever come in under? Editing to add TC. Current TC at N $215k (non-engineer) Offer at competitor: $155k base $150k RSU / 3 yr $50k signing 10% cash bonus target 35% refresher target I am calcing new TC as ((base*3)+new hire RSU+signing)/3 = $221k If I actually get that 10% bonus and 35% refresher comp will be quite a bit higher in years 2 and 3. By year 3 I would hope I would have gotten promoted, or I would need to make sure I’m getting those bonuses to be at a comp over $200k. The new job offer isn’t just about TC for me - it’s a door opener to a new career path.
I'm yet to see a company which puts any quantifiable refresher commitment on paper. That is simply not a thing.
I've never been told an explicit refresher target, let alone had it in my offer letter.
Several recruiters have told me the expected refresher. Of course, I check it online as well before committing to a company
They might describe the refresher program in broad terms, but there’s no way they’re going to get that specific in an offer letter.
Weird there is TC or GTFO comment for Netflix guys.
I’m a girl :P
No, no and no. Also, what’s your TC?
