Relocating to SF from DC
What’s the best neighborhood to rent in SF? I’m 30 years old and moving with my boyfriend from Shaw/U St (if you’re familiar). We love being walking distance to a variety of bars and restaurants. I’ve heard SF is very segregated by neighborhood and want to make sure we’re making the right choice.

DC blows ass - I think SF has far more personality than the stuffy-ness inside of the beltway. Sadly, your neighborhood of choice will likely reflect your skin color, then personality traits. Not that it’s okay, but that’s how it shakes out in the Bay Area. Everyone gets along but lives alongside their own.
Why will you ever move to SF from DC? SF is nothing less than a sewer.
Sewer is generous. I live in sf and am looking to move ASAP. The city is a lost cause
