Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Due to health reasons, I'm planning to move to Florida. Does anyone know if Walmart has an office in Miami or would that allow me to work remotely? I'm OK flying down every two months to their corporate office to work from the office for a week. #walmart #walmartecommerce #walmartethics #globaltech #tech
3 days in office policy at Walmart
Wouldn't they help even in health related situations?
I'm pretty sure this is something you should be asking your manager. They would give you the answer
They should help and provide remote working options/extension if it's a genuine case. Feel free to explore, we're not Amazon 😅
It is unlikely they will make an exception.
There is no office location in Florida. Closest is Atlanta. I would assume health exception can be made. You could apply for that location but I would make sure you are clear in your needs with your recruiter. They can also hire you as 100% remote, but I hear that is rare these days.
Best answer I would say based on the OP situation.
During offsite, there was a guy from Florida. Everyone was surprised and he said nobody knew that location. I guess it was a rental place with only a couple people.
Remember that moving will impact your pay and benefits also.
As per recent policy, starting from July managers can approve one month of WFH in case of medical reasons
Don't see this happening. Someone I know had to move from FL to NJ to meet the 2x per week requirement
It’s allowed just for a month, at least in IDC it is there One is my teammate got it for a medical reason Try asking your manager/hr
