I've been interviewing with both Celonis and UiPath for Pre-sales roles and received offers from both. Celonis came first with base $110k, OTE of $150k, and $40k in RSUs. The hiring manager didn't seem willing to negotiate. UiPath came with $110k, OTE of $143k, and $80k in RSUs. I was able to negotiate to $120k base and $155k OTE and signed with them. After I declined the Celonis offer, the hiring manager countered with $132k base, $10k signing bonus, OTE of $165k, and $80k in equity. Personally I like the UiPath product better and think the role could potentially be more fun, but Celonis could pay out nicely with an IPO next year. What's the move here? Current OTE: $125k YOE: 4
I think you should do what product you believe in more. It sounds like you know where youโre going to sell more and have more fun doing it ๐คทโโ๏ธ
How did everything go? Btw UiPath is going to beat Celonis into the earth long term.

The job market is absolutely brutal right now
I donโt think 10K difference is worth reneging, especially if you like the product better
