Hi fellow professionals! I'm a New Grad in Silicon Valley and find it quite challenging (but not impossible) to land a Software Engineering position. There 3 internships behind my back (2 iOS and 1 in blockchain), 1 freelance job in Data Engineering, 1 blockchain club founded, 1 senior project brought to accelerator. Want to stay in the Bay Area because of my small business project and Burning Man installation I started building with my friends by winning Honoraria Grant. But if I move somewhere else none can be finished... Currently, am interviewing (or scheduled) with several companies. However, want to increase my chances of a good fit. Also, need Visa sponsorship - there are some awesome things I want to do here that need time, hope you understand. If it looks nice to you, hit me up here) https://repher.me/r/-LxiWmNac4xKYarp2nWE
@aura Lol, how fucking old are you? "I wouldn't hire anyone playing with the devil's technology!" Prepare to get left in the past, but it sounds like you've been there for a while now.
Take the block chain off your resume if you're applying to Google and Salesforce (it's ok for Fb)
For what reasoning?
As a hiring manager I will worry about the life choices somebody made if they write block chain
