Research Scientist with only a MS degree?
I’m finishing up my MS degree from MILA/Concordia Montreal and have a publication in a top venue Is a PhD required for a research position at FAANG? Are there cases where MS students qualify and under what criteria
If you are referring about a research fellow(msft) then no ..seen people with bachelor's get into it
If you have the skill set then you'll get hired. It's not uncommon for swe to transition to research with only a 4yr degree but they also have that exp of working alongside and supporting research. RS will be damn near impossible to get but AS is obtainable.
No not a requirement. I personally know a couple of folks who did bachelors + bootcamp and are now research scientists at google brain.
