I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide an honest review of my resume. I am targeting internship roles in FAANG-like companies, specifically Software Development Engineer (SDE) positions. I am open to constructive feedback on areas of improvement, elements to add or remove, and any other insights you may have. Thank you in advance for your assistance. #tech #faang #maang #google #microsoft #meta #apple #amazon #lyft #walmart #airbnb #netflix #oracle #nvidia #ibm #adobe
Looks good. Pretty standard!
A little too generic imo. I like to see some modest personality in the template… this looks like it just got printed from a template
Are you referring to the generic structure of the resume or the content itself? The current format appears to be easy to read. Do you suggest changing it to a different format to not look generic?
Need to see more of the impact of your projects, you need to invert your entire resume… but it’s very organized! So a plus for that! See if you can translate the reductions in your experience section to $$$, cost savings always garners attention.
Grammar is bad which is a red flag. Try running it through chatgpt to reword and fix grammatical mistakes
Hey! Can you give me the link for the resume template? It looks damn minimalist.

What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Skills at the top, then experience, projects, open source contributions, then education. You want to put the most important at the top, no one cares about your education, just a requirement to check off, nothing more than that
Agree. Skills at the top, bold all of the right aligned dates Customize for the role you are applying for (as much as you can) Maybe merge Projects and Open Software contributions section. Both of these sections though don’t tell me what the benefit/impact of what you did was. “Fixed bugs” - Good but why, was it a critical component, used by millions of people, or just a minor thing.
Thanks a lot for the review! The contributions I made weren't just minor changes in the documentation. Is it accurate to state that these contributions significantly impacted all users of the library? While I'm unsure about the exact percentage of users within the framework I contributed to, I am confident that a substantial number of people utilize the functionality affected by my work. To provide more context, React Native Elements has approximately 102,840 weekly downloads, and React Native itself has around 1,783,103 weekly downloads. Although I can't pinpoint the exact percentage, it's clear that my bug solution would have undoubtedly affected a considerable portion of these users. Should I explicitly mention such large numbers?
