How does everyone plan on retiring? Work at a pre-ipo? 401k? Pension? Social security?
Investing my rsus in real estate and a diversified 3-fund etf portfolio until FIRE. Plus 401k and mega backdoor roth.
Passive income > earned income. Retired
What did you do for passive income?
I just have a lot of index funds, the most hands off strategy. Clearly less profitable than taking a more active approach, but still good. I have about 2M invested so that’s about 50k/y of qualified dividends + growth of the security.
A life of modest fiscal responsibility and planning for the future
lol 401k. govt will tax it because govts especially bankrupt ones always do. then there is always manufactured market crashes like 2000 that always happen right when you can actually cash out
A 401k is just an account at a broker. No different than any thing else.
