Do you recommend investing in target date funds for accounts such as a Roth (after mega backdoor) and HSA or focus on VOO for these retirement accounts? I already invest a good amount in VOO in my regular investment account and from what I understand, target date funds get adjusted the closer you get to your date to limit risk. @Google @Microsoft @Amazon
Voo of course 🤐
All target funds were royally fucked when interest went up. My kid’s 529 was targeted and crashed right when it was time to pay for college.
😔
VOO hands down.
Im curious too how do these funds work compared to Voo?
Target Date Funds increase your percentage of bonds over time so by the time you're in your 40s, the target date fund is like 25% in bonds which is ... not great in my opinion.
