One of the most cost effective option out there and I have been mostly happy. YMMV if you hike a lot and often go to remote areas in which case reception could be a leading indicator of your luck on that day.

Let me clarify, strictly looking for talk, text and reasonable data with in US probably yes, you may find cheaper options. But if you travel outside NA or if you have reasons to make international calls, things would soon become no brainer.

Also not clear on your private comment, burner vs postpaid is a different topic that shouldn't influence whether to choose Fi or not

Runs on TMobile

Not just TMob though. Wifi calling too

On iPhone it would be what you expect from TMobile

The concept is amazing and for low or 0 data consumption the bill totally makes sense. My first thought is that they double count traffic in order to charge you the top threshold. If you consume an average of 5GB of data per month, expect it to double to 10GB+ with Fi. This is my 6 months experience.

I’m planning yo go for unlimited plus plan, in that case data is unlimited right

There’s a cap after 20GB or something like that. They can (and will) cap the speed after this

They don’t support 5G on iPhone yet though and streaming could be in lower quality depending on ur plan

Its great for me. Everything works outside of the us with no worries, costs stay the same except for international calls. But it has wifi calling and messaging. If youre like me you use like 1.5gb of data per month so your bill will be like $35
