No denying that Rivian retaliated against Laura Schwab. The Verge: Rivian accused of ‘toxic bro culture’ in gender discrimination lawsuit. https://www.theverge.com/2021/11/4/22764212/rivian-discrimination-lawsuit-toxic-bro-culture-rj-scaringe-ipo Rivian had bro culture from start or its a creation of the tesla imports? #auto #rivian #tesla #hr #bro #toxic
Now I want to buy their stock even more.
Unfortunately pretty common in automobile sector
Applied to Rivian after reading the articles.
It's hard for any company to maintain a culture with so much growth, and a company with 10k employees isn't ever going to have a single culture. That being said, I find Rivian to be the most intentionally inclusive company that I've ever worked for, and maintaining this will only work to our benefit. (Not trying to discredit the woman who was fired, as we work in entirely different parts of the business.)
+1 You hit the nail on the head. Nowadays, someone's experience here will likely only be as good as their experience working with their teams (immediate and cross-functional). Not denying Laura's experience, but I've never seen a trace of what she claims in the areas I'm involved with.
I have, and worse, and I have had exposure across many areas of Rivian. Anyone remember Mike Bell and the gang of cronies he brought with him? Also, despite overt warning signs of what they were doing to the culture in the Bay Area offices, how long it took before they were all let go?
are u the same magna guy trying to shitpost on rivian everytime. u need to let go bro
Bullish
It's quite easy for people at a company who's majority of employees are new to inclusive culture and are bringing baggage from Musk Inc. I have witnessed some instances where ignorant managers make certain comments that are unintentionally belittling. However that's not the culture that the company stands by, from day 1 they home the idea of belonging and inclusivity. Like most growing companies speaking out is meant to get rid of those bad actors. Does RJ and the rest stand for this type of culture? IDK , but any good leader would have stepped up and commented about it (internally), instead of one female leader.
People have spoken out about bad actors on numerous occasions. Those bad actors are still at the company. My two cents, some in the leadership team don’t want to own their mistakes of making bad hires.

How did this happen? (Meta Stock)
I would love to work at a company with toxic bro culture rather than toxic woke culture
Hear hear
Wtf does that mean ? Toxic bro culture won't let women grow. This thought process scare me.
