Hi Strangers, I posted my resume for roasting in Blind and got valuable feedback. I have now modified my resume based on the feedback. Please let me know your thoughts. I am also looking for referrals for a software engineering role at FAANG Europe. It will be really helpful :) #engineering #software #swe #amazon #google #facebook
Would you like to be roasted in microwave or something else 😂😉
I see things about projects but what about the outcomes of those projects? Talk about your impact to the business and team
I want fried not roasted. Rejected
Could have renamed yourself to roastedchicken for this thread/post
Certifications are bullshit. Even worse that the ones listed are expired
Agree on the expired certs, but i feel like aws certs are one of the few that actually hold some weight to it. I’ve come across a lot of job descriptions that require at least an AWS SA-associate level cert

Looks good. Resumes don’t matter much. DM for a referral.
Resume doesn't matter for interviewer but to reach upto that you need good resume.
Well we can help them get to the interview. What matters is can they raise the bar in the interviews.
Your action words are boring - built, built, designed, designed. Reframe sentences or find synonyms. Also I personally don't like full sentences on my resume because grammar takes up real estate. For example, instead of 'This compiler is used to deploy...' I would do 'Used to deploy DL models for 3000+ in-house COVID 19 kits distributed globally' Basically just shorten and sentences and move impacts to the beginning. '10 products from 3 business units were integrated into the platform' to 'Onboarded 10 products across 3 business units' One more example: instead of 'Once a use case is finished ... 2-3 weeks', do 'Shortened deployment timeline from XX to 2-3 weeks' or 'Shortened deployment timeline by YY%'. Also if possible, break up the monolithic points into sub points? Work Exp 1 bullets 2 and 4 make me not want to read further.
This guy resumes
