Robinhood restricted my trading access!
At the lowest point of the market 2 weeks back, Robinhood blocked my trading access claiming my recent activity triggered a compliance alert. Since then, RH has kept my trading access blocked and I’m not able to open new positions. They’ve been harassing me by asking me to send all sorts of documentation (statements of very old bank accounts which aren’t even linked to RH anymore!!) It claims that I logged into multiple accounts from the same device which is not true. When I told them this, they refused to share more information on what time these logins happened and what devices. I can’t help but wonder if this “compliance alert” is legit or another one of Robinhood’s scheme to restrict open trading during market volatility Anyone else experience anything similar in the last month? #personalfinance #investments #banrobinhood

As far as I can tell there's only one thing they do well .. setup a recurring investment into an index fund and check back after a year .. for anything else .. schwab or fidelity
Yes, I've experienced similar request from RH and their Customer Support is crazy! I've requested to reset my MFA and they created a ticket to "investigate unauthorized activity" on my account. I'm like wtf! After weeks of struggle and multiple emails my issue is resolved. I've shifted my investments to other trading platforms like webull and etrade. Will close out RH account soon.
