"the largest-ever FINRA penalty" - well this is gonna be a good ipo. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/30/robinhood-to-pay-70-million-for-misleading-customers-and-outages-the-largest-finra-penalty-ever.html
Yet everyone seems to still be using them 🤷♂️
Have you seen the other options? I have like 8 different apps on my phone and it’s by far the least cluttered and easy to use. Ive been thinking about moving my money but the other options have issues, like waiting 3 days to move money etc. So, it’s not that simple once you get used to something that just works. Also, I wasn’t affected by the issues, so I don’t have much skin in the game.
Whatever, big banks routinely pay billions in fines and it's business as usual.
Also the sky is blue. Rh fines is part of their business model.
Cost of operating as a scummy company
The thing is, this fine is not related to the GME stuff. More importantly, each State regulator can issue their own fines, and the SEC can do that and more. This is just the beginning of what they'll be paying.

Who here owns a gun?
What a joke . These fines are nothing to these companies. Until fines become more serious they are just the cost of doing business
But it is the biggest FINRA fine in history. That's something to say about it. But regardless yeah, it's pennies in reality.
That just paints a clearer picture on what a joke the FINRA fines have been in the past
