Robinhood vs Lyft
Currently have offers from both for backend software engineering positions. TC for Robinhood is a bit higher. For Lyft, I would be on the L5 team working on autonomous vehicles. For Robinhood, I would be more of a generalist, most likely working on the crypto platform. Any help would be great, thanks!

Lyft is pretty lame and bloated....Amazon aws shop. I rejected Lyft to work at oath. But I would jump at the chance to work at Robinhood

Robinhood
Lyft equity is more "in the money" (though it's not actually in the money). Hood equity is higher risk, higher reward, assuming they won't low ball you. Lyft is a big company with big company politics. Hood is more like a startup engineering team. Hood will make you will work harder and have more impact, while Lyft is nicer and more convenient. One big advantage Lyft has is the softer downside: if both companies fail, Lyft will look much better on your CV. If hood fails soon recruiters won't even recognize the brand.
