As an IT professional with over 10 years of experience in the US IT industry, I was surprised and disappointed by my recent interview experience with Infosys. The interviewer was an Indian professional working on-site, and he seemed to expect specific prepared answers rather than allowing me to express myself. I am unsure if Infosys' HR department oversees these interviews, but I found the absence of an HR representative and the reliance on developers to conduct interviews to be unusual for a company of Infosys' size and reputation.
Did you have a stroke while writing this?
Exactly 😂
@New- did you have a stroke while reading the comment? 😂
Are you desperate to join a WITCH ? . If you are not a Indian then difficult for you to work there. It’s a outsourcing company.
OMG 🤔
I mean it’s difficult for everyone. They don’t give you special preference if you are Indian. Neither being Indian makes you comfy with the culture. Source: I used to work for a WITCH and I am an Indian.
Do they still make floppy disks these days?
In the end, Infosys needs people who can deal with seniors like the interviewer because their teams are full of them. Maybe that's why they sent their best (worst) one to conduct the interview. In the big picture, that interview went exactly as it should have, and win win for both parties. You are not a good fit for Infosys, and Infosys is not a good fit for you.
Your English sounds like you are Indian yourself.
What did you expect it to be
I need the interviewer show some empathy to the candidate who is interviewing. He don't have any soft skills to prove he has eligible in the interview panel.
