Hi, Should I take an offer from jacobs for TC 110k TC. No sign on bonus, no stock options. Do jacobs consider renegotiating for a higher pay? How is growth in jacobs company? Experience 2 yrs Location los Angeles
Hi there- Jacobs is a huge company so stock options is a heavy ask. I’d counter with higher pay. Since you’re only at 2 years, this is an ok offer for your experience level but not good enough for COL in your area. Negotiate a higher salary more in line with COL and market rates in LA. Benefits are pretty good at the company so no need to worry there. Now growth for you is immeasurable. There are infinite opportunities for you.
Not much growth opportunities in my opinion. 100k May be considered low income in LA county according to Cali’s Department of Housing.
