Has anyone recently joined SAP Concur engineering team? Being offered a T5 role and trying to get a sense of how good the business, team, benefits and culture are. Would love to hear from current employees. Any red flags on that team? Offer itself is strong with 20% upside compared to my current TC but I'm also content in my current role with good career trajectory so far. SAP stock is on a rip these days and they seem to be doing good. Trying to figure out if it's worth the jump. TC: 560k YOE: 17 #SAP #SAPConcur #tech
Can’t believe SAP pays that much to T5
How come? This seems to be in line with what other companies are paying for similar level.
Can't believe TC...and coming from MS? lol 🥜 in terms of benefits...I would think 10000000000 times before switch
Care to elaborate?
Elaborate what? You are coming from MS to SAP. Seems like to me you are naive, go online compare benefits, you will find out what do I mean. If you can't figure it out...you are best fit for T5 here...be yes man to upper class and act like a giant pain in ass of teams under you. First ever comment on this post was conclusive enough.
I’d stay if you’re happy.
Thats the highest TC i’ve ever seen at SAP barring executive pay
MSFT folks live in a bubble. My suggestion is to act humble. Don’t come with a condescending attitude. Don’t assume MSFT way will work here at SAP. Concur is a cash cow but it could mean higher expectations.
There are tons of ex-Softies at Concur. Is a 20% TC jump significant to you? If so, take it. You can always go back as L68 in a few years if you don't like it. That's what everyone else does.
Concur isn’t hiring stateside at all. All future backfills are overseas only. No one allowed to hire stateside unless critical. If you’re coming in at that high of a compensation, you’re going to be a unicorn. Rest & Vest. You’re never going to get refreshers high enough to sustain that $680k.
At T5? Yeah, you could definitely get refreshers high enough. $200-300k in stock isn't at all outside of whats reasonable.
T5 is sr director/vp level in SAP. Seniority wise it's a level below leadership. TC offered lookd to be 680 k which is much higher than what T5 are offered in core SAP
