I work with latest tech at SAP in a young team and culture is pretty good here. WLB is good and problems are complex and interesting. How is IBM doing for developers? I know it used to be great but it is not leaving a really good impression for me so far looking at all the reviews where people are recommending non tech companies over IBM. What do you think about going from SAP to IBM? #ibm #sap #SWE
Downgrade. Totally
Downgrade, a few weeks ago they failed to migrate mail servers and tried to pretend nothing was wrong. Internal systems probably haven’t been upgraded since the 60’s
Depends on the experience you’re going to gain. Better to go where you think you’ll progress faster or get to do more interesting work.
Big downgrade
Depends on what team
Interested in which teams are you referring to?
TC? It could be a downgrade or an upgrade depending on the team. If you are on my team then definitely a downgrade lol
Downgrade. Keep working hard and then leave for a better company.
I know a person from my team who did this! I think it was big downgrade :/
I worked at both ibm and sap! it is a downgrade but still go to increase your TC, SAP is boomerang friendly.

Only good thing IBM has is some hardware teams, Power PC, etc.
Power team is actually the worst hw team probably in ALL existing hw teams because of constant layoffs. What you mean is other hw team called mainframe or ibmZ
