How is the work culture in SARC? I have got an offer from there. I have an offer from AMD as well. Can someone working in SARC please comment? Tc 165k #hardware #semiconductor #Samsung
What is the offer breakdown at SARC and AMD?
Would definitely join AMD over SARC. So many of my amd colleagues who went to SARC have been laid off over the years and have come back.
Dude run away from SARC and u can thank me later.. It can be closed anytime. Look at LinkedIn, as I know 6 director / sr. director left in a span of 6 months. And from my info, many are interviewing and will be leaving soon Just search for director/PE who previously worked for SARC and see where they are now..u will see the trend
How is SACL? Any insights?
Why would anybody join for Samsung, Mediatek etc when there are lot of good American companies hiring. I don't know specific about SACL, but probably not worth when lot of other companies are hiring
Run away don’t know what is going to happen to Exynos lot of people leaving
SARC GPU team? The team is working on a joint project with AMD. If you want to have interesting GPU work, why not joint AMD directly?
GPU team is fine except for attrition and there was only one reason for attrition, comp not keeping up with the industry due to inflation. That is being actively worked on. Good road map for the years ahead.
What is comp to be expected for Senior staff? Any idea
