SDE to PM transition.
Looking to transition from SDE to Product management, have applied for around 50 jobs on LinkedIn but haven’t got any call yets. I’ve taken a few PM courses in Coursera and LinkedIn learning and have updated my profile and resume with same, have also read the book ‘Cracking the PM interview’ it was interesting. Will appreciate any tips, I’m also trying to find a PM role in my current company but no luck yet. #productmanager #sde #career
What is your background? I don't think right now is a good time for the transition since you are going up against a lot more experienced PMs in the job market.

You won't get a PM job by applying if you have no experience. There are hundreds of laid off PMs with lots of experience looking for jobs now. Internal transfer, side projects, etc is the path most people usually take anyway. Try to focus on stuff where your eng background gives you a good leg up.
Don't bother. Otherwise try and do it internally
