The stock has been going nut. Can someone explain their unique competitive advantage? Why can’t HP or Dell build similar AI boxes with NVDA/AMD chips to crush them? What’s your bull vs bear thesis?
Smci will reach $2000 soon 🚀
Less than 8k employees :D .. never followed then until recently but damn it’s crazy. God bless who ever holding it or working there.
Holding since 100s. This one just keeps on giving
where do you get your stock picks. please share your knowledge 🙏
It'll be like GameStop and AMC. Pump and dump.
Short answer is yes, Dell and HP are already selling competitive products. Ai optimized servers are selling very well for all vendors. Dell and HP are huge so investors don't notice when $1B is added to revenue, but $1B is very noticeable at SMIC. They've just passed the "scale" barrier so their profit rises rapidly. They have no long term competitive advantage other than maybe market focus. They are a timing play.
Well, their market cap is bigger than Dell and HP…
@4s. Which let's you know their valuation is moronic.
Their competitive advance is they are cheap.
Why can’t Dell drop the price then?
100K employees at Dell and a couple dozen more product lines than SMCI. Plus $40B in debt. If Dell spun out PowerEdge as a separate standalone business would it be worth more than Dell? Probably.
Poof then it’s gone
