Work is better on both sides [Note that I have not added refresher RSUs] OCI offer Base 155k Stocks 73k Joining 18.5 TC 1st year 245k 2nd year onwards, 227k Sr SDE Msft Base 180k Stocks 55k Joining 50/2years = 25k Bonus (0-30%) = 27k (taking average 15%) 1st-2nd year tc - 287k 3rd year onwards tc - 262k I'm aligned more towards microscoft. Because of better pay and better benefits. It looks like the best from immigration perspective. But wanted to get insights Total yoe : 3.5

Microsoft seems better, but OCI work is more interesting and tech stack much better.
I see. OCI seems to have 2 types of reviews. Some say it's just building pipelines and oncall operations, whereas some say it's good in terms of growth.
oracle senior < Microsoft senior. Mainly because each company has its own levelling.
Be smart go to Microsoft. Better brand, more pay.
IC3 at OCI is not very impressive. Take the MSFT job.
I have been in OCI for last 3 years and honestly, there is no appreciation for any good work very ill-mannered management, hike limited to specific people and very very toxic culture. the good thing is most of the OCI team is remote so you do not need to go to office.
Microsoft is also remote. But yes I have heard about culture and its hard to increase the pay. I'll go with msft. Ty
