Israeli precision-guided munition likely killed group of children playing foosball in Gaza, weapons experts say
Currently M1. TC is 400-450k. Mostly remote. Good WLB. Manage 8 ppl, mostly junior engineers. I have an offer at an Elon Musk company (think Tesla, X, SpaceX) to become a manager of managers. TC is same at 400-450k. Five days per week in office. Bad WLB. Will manage 4 managers and 25-35 people team off the bat. Goal is to become an M2/Director at FAANG. I might be able to leverage this role for M2 at a Lyft-like company with large scope. Path to grow at Lyft seems limited due to slow growth of the company. I also recently joined. Minimum 2 years for M2 promo here.
You’ll probably need to put 18-24 months in with the Muskrat to be able to keep the title while going to a higher tier company, so keep that in mind.
Not worth it.
I think the new CEO is not driven by increasing HC but rather Amazon’s core Customer obsession policy. Personally, I’m bullish on LYFT going forward, but if you’re concerned about scope growth, then LYFT isn’t the place for you. Tripling your scope is the right move, but can get overwhelming due to the initial ramp up + change in job heuristics.
Lyft still pays M1s that much?
M1 bare minimum is probably 400k.
