Hey guys, I went through rounds with Uber freight and failed the final round. I didn’t get any feedback but am studying to try again and had a couple questions. Is there a cool down period? I heard it may be 6 months but not sure. If you fail once, will it be harder to get another interview after a cool down period? What does Uber freight like to ask about? I doubt I’ll get asked the same questions again. Uber is my endgame company that I want to stay at for a long time and I’m not willing to settle for anything else (which surprises many people that think FAANG is king). Any advice for getting into Uber freight will be greatly appreciated, I’d love to talk to someone within Uber freight if possible. YOE: 6 TC: 150k
This seems short sighted. There are so many other companies that will do better than Uber in the long term. Uber and other digital gig companies have tons of regulatory hurdles and that’s the least of their problems. My advice is don’t even try getting into Uber Freight. Take a chance with Flexport maybe if that’s a space you really want to be in for some strange reason.
I have a final round with flexport soon, but I really like Uber as a company and have friends that work there. I’ve respected the company for years and I want to experience like there at least once.
Uber is an operations heavy company. All the heavy lifting and cool work has already been done. I had offers from both and chose Lyft.
