Salary Expectations (Amazon Europe)
Hello, I am currently in Asia and am interviewing for Amazon (Europe). I have been requested by the recruiter to share my target total compensation expectations. There are open roles in many cities in EMEA - and I've been asked to provide a few preferred locations and my salary expectations for each. Could you please provide some guidance for an SDE 2 role for the following cities: 1. London 2. Madrid 3. Luxembourg 4. Berlin Thanks a lot! YOE: 4

For you to know, salary in Europe vary due to country taxes and cost of living. If total compensation is your target, then the cities sorted from highest to lowest would be 1.London 2.Berlin/Luxombourg 3. Madrid
120-140k GBP for London
I was offered 80k + 17 stock units for 7 YOE in Lux
What the hell. Isn't that really low? What percentile does Amazon put themselves in? Surely plenty of non faang companies can and do match that, especially for 7 yoe.
