Salary comparison
Offer: Tesla. $45K per year, FTE, benefits. $7,000 preferred stock, 25% available after the first year. In San Mateo office w/ no catered lunch. Longer commute compared to my current role. Current: $60K per year. Contractor, shitty benefits. 3 YOE, hit diminishing returns in current role. In SF office with lunch. Is it pay cut worth it?
I would find another job. As a former Tesla Senior leader I can assure you its not worth working there for that package, irregardless of position.
