Hi All, I accepted an offer from ASML, US a month ago and my start date was last week of Sept and my recruiter said I’ll not be getting yearly bonus if I join later than Oct 2nd but due to slow visa processing (H1B transfer) I’m not able to join the company and it still might take a month or more for me to join. In this situation, is it good to negotiate for salary/sign-in bonus increase since the delay is being done from the company? If yes, how would I reach out to the recruiter? Thank you.
What was your offer? I am in the exavt same situation with ASML. Please let me know how the negotiations go.
TC- 125k, 10% API and 5k signing bonus.

Did you hear back from the recruiter?
Not yet
I understand your concern but had a quick question. Annual performance bonus is usually prorated and it given in March based on reviews in November. So what you will lose is about 2/12*Base salary*Bonus%?
Good luck with negotiation though..ASML is a little hard on Negotiation being a European company but definitely reach out to the recruiter to raise this point.

You may ask. There is no major harm. But it may make your H1B process slower. Better approach could be to ask for RSU. What location are you joining to ?
That’s a good idea too. Thanks
