Hello. Applying to a job at CK and curious if there’s any room to negotiate for RSU/signing bonuses. I know they now have a pay structure where everyone is paid equitably based on title, so not sure if that plays in to the ability to ask for more money. TIA
Base is fixed, and so is equity, you'll have room on sign on bonus
Thank you! Is sign on something every employee gets, or based on level you’re coming in at?
Not sure, probably everyone gets it it's just a matter of the amount
Salary and RSUs are fixed *by level*. You can try to get up leveled. CK also has separate tracks for specialties (mobile for example) that have slightly different pay bands.
Yeah it's all fixed. I just joined and it was either on the bus or off the bus.
You can negotiate on sign-on bonus, especially if you can show you would lose out on vesting equity in the next six months.
Thanks!! Do you know if sign on is something everyone gets? Or only after a certain level?
If I had to guess, it is role and level dependent. I know it has upper limits as well.
Do you have to go in person ?

You can try negotiating a higher RSU grant. The base salary is fixed so no room for wiggle there. Also not sure if sign up bonus is a thing at CK. If it is - try leveraging there too.
Equity is non-negotiable as well
I negotiated for my sign up, but it was like $10k
