Salary normalization @ Adobe
Hello adobe folks , I have a query regarding salary normalization for lateral hires. Does adobe make sure during promotion that the base falls in the correct range ? Lets say if an mts 2 has 22 base can he get 30 base if promoted to cs-1 ? Because new cs-1 hires get 30 base. #tech #salaries #salarycomparison #adobe

Usually they do, but strangely this time they didnโt. I got promoted but am far off the band. Know another colleague who is closer but not in the band yet. In the last mid year and annual cycles this totally wasnโt the case. May be a budgeting thing. Secondly, CS1 band starts from 24 so on most days theyโll bring you just in the band.
