Hello, I had a question regarding trying to renegotiate salary while on H1B. I am currently on a H1B. I like my team and my work but am not satisfied with the pay. I have a competing offer from a startup which pays significantly higher. I would ideally like to ask for a raise citing the other offer but I am not sure if this is a risk worth taking. If my manager fires me and the other offer falls through then I’d only have 60 days to find a job and get the visa transfer done right?

2 rules TC chase 1. Plenty of fish in the sea- don't think the start up is safe? Interview and get another offer 2. Never accept a counter offer from current employer- unless you plan to jump ship anyway Edit: The 60 day grace period is at the discretion of DHS/USCIS. So don't take that for granted
