Hello Any one working in Sales Force ? Need perspective - Is VP level role considered senior in Salesforce? I.e. - I am from Financial Services industry & Title VP & Comp associated with it means different in every different company. Wanted to get perspective on With context to Sales Force is VP senior role & What is the typical comp associated with this title ?#tech
Salesforce does their HRBP "assignment"weird in that they heavily encourage Sr Dir and below to use a ticketing system for HR help or talk to your boss. VP+ actually get to talk to a real live person as their HRBP. So in that way, VP is the lowest ring of exec. It's also easy to get to it internally if you play the SF politic game right.
Got it. Makes sense.
Yes,this is not like banking. Progression in engineering is below. (MTS is member of technical staff) AMTS - associate (typically new college grads) MTS SMTS - Senior LMTS - Lead PMTS - Principal Architect Principal Architect Etc For managers- Manager starts at same level as SMTS. So it is: Manager Sr Manager Director Sr Director VP SVP EVP Most VPs have Sr Directors, Directors reporting them, they in turn have Sr Managers, Managers and individual contributors. Typical org size can be close to 100 people or more.
Isnt there an RVP in between Sr Director and VP? Or can Sr Director be called RVP too?
Not in tech, no RVP. Seems like a Sales org title or for dealing directly with customer roles.
