Salesforce - applying to two different roles?
People at salesforce - I see two roles open at salesforce that fit my skill set. One is at quip and the other is at salesforce. Is it ok to apply to both? Will they question whether or not I know what I want or anything along those lines? Role is for data engineering

Quip positions are all evergreen fake positions. Just apply to everything.
What does evergreen fake positions mean?
Evergreen positions means that the position is always posted but there may or may not be a headcount. Usually there is no manager attached to the position. Your friend should be able to check internally. It would say evergreen. The ones that say all levels all locations software engineer are usually marked evergreen. Quip always has these positions that just rejects everybody. Even internally moving there is a pain.

If your friend already referred you then you are his referral for a year. Getting another person to refer you won’t give that second person a referral. Have your friend submit you for more roles.
