Historically it is a consulting firm so they like to claim expertise in every trendy tech. The research team produces little original. It does have avg to good experts in its engineering ranks who prefer the WLB and the inflated titles to more hectic big tech. It also has a lot of people prematurely promoted to SVP and above (eqv to Google director) so expect immature executives. Clara's skill is in self-promotion upwards and outwards (which is worth learning), she's done it really well for 20 years. She has a champion named Steve Fisher who manages the AI orgs. Helps her claim other execs' work as the "CEO" of Salesforce AI (she doesn't have an actual critical org). I didn't see any organization, product, or strategic output from her that will make a difference to Salesforce's future. What has changed in the past 1-2 years is they hired better (but obscure) technical execs and experts, and gotten rid of a lot of people like Clara (still more fat to shed imo). The real work happening in AI are run by these ex Google, Yahoo, Microsoft folks. The work is real and there's a solid push to catch up and exceed customer expectations.
