I went through several rounds of interviews for SE role at Salesforce and had a verbal offer extended to me a couple weeks ago just “waiting for headcount to be approved”. It’s been a couple weeks now and no updates. Has anyone experienced this?

I was told that all my feedback is positive but they never gave a verbal offer. Recruiter said that you were the strongest candidate but HC got cancelled and he will market to other teams under same manager. Is there any possibility ?
