Got an offer from salesforce for bellevue location SMTS 170k base 85k rsu over 4 years 15% bonus Not thrilled.. is this okay for bellevue loc? howz work life balance at Salesforce? Do they not do joining bonus? Current TC 187k YOE 12

For 12 YOE you're getting lowballed hard, I know seniors at tableau who got mapped to LMTS at SF with less than 3 YOE
Can Salesforce FTE folks apply for Tableau jobs? Is that considered internal transfer or external hire?

Yes they can, internal transfer
Ask for more RSUs and higher base ($180k is reasonable). RSU’s should be around $125k for S level
How long does a promo from SMTS to LMTS take? I asked the hr to bump me to LMTS but no heed. Dont want to enter into SMTS and find myself in line for years .. Also, is the bonus payout near 100% ?
Yes, bonus has been at 100% or more since I’ve been here. Promo can take as little as 1 year or longer depending on the quality/visibility/value of your work. Unfortunately office politics also probably play a part but in my org I have not noticed it. With your YOE you should be able to get L. What org is this for?
