Salesforce data science teams
How’s Salesforce for data science? It’s one of the business teams? How is the layoff situation? My partner has an offer from them for a Lead Data Scientist role. He has to reply to the offer in 2 days. TC offered: 170k + 140RSU (4years)+ 15% bonus Anyone from salesforce? The interview experience wasn’t great, everyone looked scared and frustrated.
Salesforce doesn’t pay well tbh. Get more RSU since refreshers are hard to get

Did you learn more about their DS team? Also, did partner accept the offer if you don’t mind asking.
My partner moved because his current job was the worst, but Salesforce DS isn’t great. My partner has been working for 2-3 weeks now. Low pay, bad culture.. the WLB looks great. Apparently, after the layoffs, the company has become toxic and the leadership is filled with snakes
Sorry are you the OP ? And is the low pay / bad culture/ toxic and snakes comment related to the lead data science opportunity at Salesforce. Asking since I am considering to join w a paycut for better WLB and would appreciate your insights
Yes, I wouldn’t recommend joining SF from Uber. It’s company in general. See, I’m not talking about all the teams, but this is the general consensus. My partner was working in an extremely toxic startup with very low pay, that’s why he moved. Many folks are rejecting DS offers from SF. The hiring manager told him after joining. Folks in Management are doing IC work there in many teams. You must have seen them hiring a lot. The reason they called back laid off folks was this. My partner is planning to leave in 1-2 years.
