Got an offer from Salesforce as SDE and want to know about the datacloud team . I heard the datacloud team is growing and has interesting projects How is culture at Datacloud teams in terms of Learning WLB ( have kids) Growth Anything to consider like reorgs etc TC 250 New TC 280 Exp 5 + 2years in defence #salesforce #engineering #software #microsoft #google #servicenow #sap

WLB is shit. Salesforce doesn’t have great WLB anymore. I work >80 hours a week. I see the same with my coworkers too.
Are you part of data cloud? or Are you speaking in general
Data cloud has great visibility at c level. It’s the one thing that’s going to drive SF to the next level. You will have lot of things to work on with high visibility. Can’t talk on WLB because I am not on DC. I am in infra and I have good WLB.
Data cloud is rough. Bunch of MS Snobs at the top who hold quarterly summits to spit at your designs.

Culture is shit across the board. Growth depends on the level you are coming in. If coming in at lmts then you can forget about it.. you ll be lmts for a min of 4 if not more years.
