Internal email from Marc B. The news has also made it to CNBC
Already on Reuters: Salesforce to cut staff by 10%, close some offices. https://www.reuters.com/technology/salesforce-cut-staff-by-10-close-some-offices-2023-01-04/ Stay strong ♥️
I know so many people at Salesforce making 200k+ across many departments who maybe do 1hr of work a week. Reckoning is coming.
Those towers aren't free.
No guarantee those are being cut, sometimes depends on how well individuals present themselves
Sorry to hear this, OP. My heart goes out to anyone affected at Salesforce. My DMs are open if you need advice or a resume review. Good luck, gentlemen. 🫡 TC: 62K
Severance is amazing
One of the best shows I’ve ever watched, can’t wait for S2
lol
So ~8k employees. Are contactors already out? Not surprised since they grew the employee count from 55k to 79k in two years.
How's lowes doing rn? Layoffs possibility?
That’s nuts
Isn't Salesforce huge? What are the absolute numbers?
Yeah ~80k so ~8k layoffs. We hired a ridiculous amount over the pandemic which I feel has a lot to do with it
Thanks. Yeah, pretty big.
Sad day at Salesforce! Praying for everyone affected 🙏🏿
