I know that my sign on bonus is considered earned after one year of employment. However, does anyone know if I leave a few weeks before one year, will Samsung HR actually send a letter to request me to repay? Does anyone have first hand experience? I am referring to the Samsung site on first street in San Jose. If they do, do they request the full amount or prorated amount? I read on Blind that some employers do not take the trouble to ask for repayment even if it is in the agreement. Not sure about Samsung. Thanks a lot!
