Got an offer from Samsung and Arm Arm Austin 93k Samsung San Jose 130k + 18k joining + 22k relo I really like the CPU group at arm because they are going head to head against x86 in the server and laptop segment. Plus with Apple trying to put Arm chips on the mac, I think Arm has potential. Samsung on the other hand, seems to pay good money and their GPU project is new, so that's a good place to learn Any thoughts ? I heard Samsung work culture is pretty bad. It's a tough call to make
Better to go back and get a cs degree while you can.
Take Samsung for sure. ARM makes a ton of money but clearly does not share it with their employees.
Lmao
Go with ARM. While Samsung pay is good, career path is doubtful especially if you are Non-korean
Which group are you a part of ?
Don't come to Samsung, no career growth
But would it make sense for a short stint ? Which group are you a part of ?
Not Silicon but this is general trend across Samsung. YMMV
please don't join Samsung .. I assume it's SARC
Run! Shittest company I've ever worked for.
Well everybody got laid of at SARC haha, I hope OP picked Arm
OP are you still with Intel?
Can I DM you if you're still at Samsung?
Don’t they offer Retention bonus?
ARM is a growing business and excellent work culture
