Attentive offer evaluation
SSI is currently due back in office in very early January (I believe it's January 3), and HR just sent an email saying "In December, we will evaluate again the timing to return to campus." That means they will only evaluate an extension of WFH mere DAYS before we're due back in office. This is very upsetting, as the timing of going back to office will have a MAJOR impact on the lives of employees, and we need this information as early as possible. Other companies gave their employees clarity about this months (and in some cases, a year) in advance. Samsung gives us just a few days.
Is samsung that strict to "penalize" each employee for badging into the office or not? I'd suggest talking to your manager about how this is unreasonable. They're probably feeling the same?
Good idea, I think I will bring it up with my manager. We can talk pretty openly about these kinds of things.
What is the WFH policy of SSI now?
Post-covid, it'll be hybrid (probably 3 days a week in office) with no option of permanent remote.
Currently can still fully WFH? What’s the date requiring back to office?
Currently WFH is permitted for anyone who wants. Tentative end date for that is January, but it might be pushed back, depending on the covid situation
Thanks a lot! Plan joining in SSI SJ site.
