Just read a article sf is apparently dying due to lack of economic activity. There is no sign of employees coming back to in-person office. SF is coming back down to earth and stabilizing. The COL will become slightly more in line with other coastal cities and then people will fill empty houses
This happened in the 60s 70s 80s when white ppl left SF for the suburbs. This allowed SF to become the vibrant city it was known for. Only possible when housing becomes dirt cheap due to rich ppl going to the burbs

People have been trying to kill off SF with drugs and high crime for years. Tech has finally stopped propping up SF. The fake libs of SF will finally get their wish when all the techies move to better cities. It will be glorious
Totally agree with ur take except “better” cities. SF is supposed to be a beautiful and welcoming city with rich history. Of course all these idiots ruined it. I still think SF is better than most other big cities that are currently trending.
