Do you have a Scrum Master on your team? If so, do you find value in their role? #product #engineering #agile ##
I have one but I’m pretty sure they are doing it all wrong. My stand ups are like 45 mins long
Probably its time to replace with true scrun master who knows scrum better :)
Ours rotate. I really hate when it’s me, so in that sense I would value someone else doing it. But no, I find no value otherwise.
They are basically just accountability coaches
It's good to have them in team if they are good at doing their job. At least they can take care of all the noise and free developers to do actual programming work.
Every one I had is pretty useless to me…current one is offshore and works during the teams night which really makes zero sense
We have one and they do a decent job. Gotta say though, super annoying when they don’t understand something after explaining it for the nth time, just eats up time. It’s also frustrating trying to explain that not EVERYTHING can be planned out (like prod support issues)
They keep teams work organised without disturbing the dev to go on the meeting..they act as a business bridge manager between clients and development teams
