Seattle folks: Is Snoqualmie, WA Too far to live

Might be relocating to the seattle area. My job would be in Bellevue and would like to know if Snoqualmie would be too far of a drive to work? Thanks

Also, I'm thinking of Snoqualmie because I'm moving from more of a smaller town and don't really want too much of a culture shock for my family.

Think you should consider Duvall

By “culture shock” do you really mean “brown people?”

It's about an hour commute from Snoqualmie ridge during rush hour

Snoqualmie to Bellevue not too bad. But just understand that traffic into Bellevue itself is busy

I wouldn't choose to be that far out.....

Depends on the type of community you want. The commute (and cheaper price) might be worth the trade off for you

Commute is fine. Community is nice. Schools are good. They finally got a grocery and drug store. But it’s in the mountain foothills which means 20% more rain and the wind is crazy there.

Snoqualmie Ridge is boring but great for kids if you have any.

No. It’s about an hour to Seattle with traffic. And it was recently voted one of the best places to live due to the high median salary and low crime.

Too far from Seattle proper.

Snoqualmie to Bellevue isn’t bad. Or Redmond. Great hiking and mtn biking too. 1/2 an hour to OK (not great) skiing.
