My wife and I are moving to Seattle in a little over a month. We're in our late 20's and both of us will be working downtown (Amazon). What are some neighborhoods in and around downtown Seattle that are fun places to live? Also looking for apartment recommendations. Walking to the office would be a great perk as long as the area isn't boring.
Greenlake, ravenna, ballard, wallingford, capital hill. Not slu.
What's wrong with the SLU area? Is it just boring?
Yep, boring, too close to work, and super boring.
Capitol Hill. Can’t easily walk to work but amazing bars / restaurants. Full disclosure: I have never lived in Seattle but many of my friends live here and I enjoy visiting.
Yeah keep gentrifying queer neighborhoods
If you're straight please, dont live on cap Hill

How is the Belltown area?
Noisy and dangerous
Congratulations for your wedding. You didnt invite us
Amli arc , Cirrus , Cascade. All superb apartments in belltown and slu. Minutes from Capitol Hill and office
Amli Arc would be super convenient. Looks nice too.
West Seattle, Ballard, Fremont
