It's an internal facing group that protects Microsoft from outside threats. It's a part of Core Services Engineering. Is it a good team to join in Microsoft? Can I move easily from SIE to Azure three months after joining if I don't like that team? I have an offer from Microsoft, but it's from this team.
CSE sucks. The red team can be a good interim role if you're focused on cyber.
I know CSE is not good. I want to go into Azure or ML. The interview was from this team and I want to get into MS with the hope that I can move to ML team after 3 months of joining MS. Is it realistic?
What's red team?
Offensive security
OP, did you end up accepting the offer? How easy is it to transfer internally? Thanks
Is CSE part of Microsoft IT under Bret?
I wonder if that's the team that sends me bogus emails and then gives me a gold star for reporting them.
Is it possible to move from that team to Azure 3-4 months after joining? That way, I can at least get into Microsoft. Thoughts?
