Quitting this Slave life
Hi there - I am getting an offer for Sr. Industry Specialist for 275k (Base salary 175k, 90k bonus, 5% of 2000 shares in year 1). I think this is low and that It should be around 340k. YOE is 9 years. Please provide your advice on how to proceed with negotiation. Thanks in advance!
What kind of role is this?!
It’s privacy based!
Were you able to ask the recruiter salary range for the position? Also, where are you located? I was told salary range differs according to location.
I'm a Privacy Specialist (L5) my TC is $200k. Sr Privacy Specialist is going to start around $215k and max out around $280k. That's a very aggressive offer for the position. It's not a very senior position. Now the Sr Privacy Manager who the Sr PS reports to may make $350k.
Thanks. Just sent you a message for more information.
I'm in a similar position interviewing for a senior specialist role with another big tech company and can't really find any info on what comp I should expect. I was thinking about ~350k too. I'm looking into paying for a negotiation service to help me navigate this because for non-SWE/non-PM positions, we're really blindfolded.
